Major Publications: Legal
I oversee the thorough review, editing, and publication process for the Southside College of Health Sciences Catalog. Working closely with key stakeholders, I ensure the content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with institutional standards. This includes comprehensive information on policies, accreditation, financial aid, degree programs, course offerings, and more. The catalog plays a crucial role in supporting accreditation efforts, academic operations, and legal compliance.

Major Publications: Commencement
I manage the comprehensive process of composing, reviewing, and finalizing the commencement program for graduation. In collaboration with faculty, administration, and event organizers, I ensure the program reflects the significance of the ceremony and highlights key moments. This includes organizing the order of events, incorporating speeches, and acknowledging honorees. Additionally, I write the script for the dean’s address and the guest speaker’s remarks, ensuring they align with the ceremony’s tone and institutional values. The program and scripts serve as essential guides, celebrating the accomplishments of graduates and upholding institutional traditions.

Newsletters
I oversee the creation and distribution of two key institutional newsletters: The Southside Pulse and the Design Digest. From gathering relevant information and developing content to editing and final distribution, I manage the entire process. Using the Poppulo platform, I ensure that each newsletter is well-crafted, engaging, and effectively tailored to the needs of our institution’s audience. This comprehensive approach ensures timely and impactful communication with all stakeholders.

The Southside Pulse is a bi-semester digital newsletter distributed via email to the Southside College of Health Sciences community. It features a mix of faculty and staff accomplishments, event recaps, previews of upcoming activities, and concise updates designed to engage students. With a focus on timely and relevant information, The Pulse keeps the community informed and connected, celebrating achievements and providing a snapshot of campus life.

The Design Digest is a newsletter shared with all staff and faculty across the three campuses of the Richmond Higher Education Institutions. Serving as a valuable resource hub for instructional design and distance education, it offers updates, insights, tips, and practical resources to support faculty in their teaching and course development. The Design Digest keeps the academic community informed about best practices, emerging trends, and tools that enhance the learning experience across our campuses.
